Home Aquatic Programs Child (Ages 6-12)

Child (Ages 6-12)

Swimmer: A 6-level, success-oriented program for children 6–12, focusing on building fundamental strokes and in-water skills. Water Smart education is included at every level to ensure swimmers stay safe in, on, and around the water.

Lifesaving Society Canadian Swim Patrol: Designed for swimmers ages 10-17 who are ready to move beyond learn-to-swim, this program develops strength and proficiency, while introducing swimmers to the world of lifesaving. Each level continues to refine skills and provides a foundation for success in the Society’s Bronze Medal Awards through three modules: Water Proficiency, First Aid, and Recognition & Rescue.

Stingrays Lifesaving Sport Club Combines swimming skill development with water and dryland fitness, and team building. Participants take part in seasonal events and competitions at both local and provincial levels.

Swim Evaluation
