Parented programs are for children up to age 3 and require active participation with an adult aged 18 or older.

Preschool (Ages 3-5)

Preschool aquatics programs are for children ages 3-5 and, unless otherwise specified, are unparented programs.

Child (Ages 6-12)

Registered aquatics programs for school-aged children aged 6 to 12 including swim lessons and any specialty courses.

Youth (Ages 13-17)

Registered aquatic programs for youth ages 13-17 including swim lessons, specialty programs and aquatic certification courses.

Adult (18+)

Adult (18+)

Registered aquatics programs for adults ages 18 and up including Lifesaving Society swim lessons, specialty programs and aquatics leadership certification courses. Beginners just starting out or swimmers looking to improve their strokes will find that the Adult Swimmer program will help them achieve their swimming goals. Swimmers will work with a certified instructor to gain confidence in the water, develop smooth recognizable strokes, and improve their water fitness. Water Smart education is incorporated into all levels to support the Society’s mandate of drowning prevention.
