- To get the most out of our day camps, check our website (Leduc.ca/summercamps) and read our detailed calendars and Parent Handbook.
- All campers are expected to pack in a 2 strap backpack that can be carried while walking/biking: nut free snacks, nut free lunch, water bottle, bug spray, sun screen and clothing dressed for outdoor weather conditions. Campers must wear closed toed shoes that attach to their feet (no sandals).
- Tuesdays & Thursdays are Swimming days at the Outdoor Pool. While swimming, anyone under the age of 8 years old must wear a PFD unless parental note is provided and will be required to swim within 1 arm length of a camp staff. Children ages 8 and older will be able to swim independently at the pool. Note: Lifeguards have the final call on safety decisions.
- Wednesdays are Bike & Adventure days. Please bring a bike, helmet and any safety gear you require to camp. Campers must be able to bike unassisted at least 30 minutes.
- A program will be cancelled or combined due to low registration 1 week prior to the program’s start date. For full details on cancellation policies https://www.leduc.ca/lrc/lrc-programs.
- While the City of Leduc strives to ensure each eligible individual’s participation in all registered and drop-in recreation opportunities, it reserves the right for our staff to assess and evaluate an individual’s participation in regards to a shared, positive and safe experience for all participants.
