Course: 15603 - Lifesaving Instructor

Information: *This course is the Lifesaving Instructor ONLY Lifesaving Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Medals, Distinction, Boat Rescue and Lifesaving Society CPR programs. The Lifesaving Instructor course prepares instructors to apply level 1 leadership competencies and strategies while teaching and evaluating. Lifesaving Instructor certification is the prerequisite for other Lifesaving Society Instructor certifications. Certification in Alberta and Northwest Territories includes CPR Instructor certification. Pre-requisites: - 16 yrs at start of course - Bronze Cross (need not be current) - 100% attendance is mandatory for all certification courses.
Information: - 100% attendance is mandatory in ALL Leadership courses - Proof of all pre-requisites is required at start of course - Pre Req's: - Minimum age 16 at start of course - Bronze Cross certification or higher (need not be current) - A program will be cancelled or combined due to low registration 1 week prior to the program’s start date.
