Course: 8944 - Standard First Aid - Blended Learning

Blended delivery relies on a combination of online instruction with in-class, face-to-face instruction . Theory and information is conveyed to participants outside of the classroom through an online component, which allows for the in-class component to concentrate on skill development and application of theory. Participants will be required to complete the online component prior to coming to the 1-day Skills component and must provide proof of completion at the start of the Skills component. This course still includes CPR 'C', information about automated external defibrillation (AED), head and spinal injuries,choking, medical poisoning and life threatening emergencies.

Information: *registrants will be registered in the online modules a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the Skills session date. No manual is required to complete the online component but to reference the Red Cross Standard First Aid manual on your MyRC profile go to: My Profile, My Online Books - current personal email address is required for registration - 100% attendance is mandatory for all First Aid courses. - Courses below minimum registration requirements will be cancelled 7 days prior to course start date
